produced for a private client, at the
instruction of his Architect. It was a
brilliant way to show the client his
designs and help him visualise the concepts
Rendering is the creation of an image, pixel by
pixel, from the 3D models, once the materials and
lighting have been set up. Animations tend to be
made up of hundreds, if not, thousands, of
frames. Each frame has to be Rendered and can
take anywhere from 30 seconds to 20 minutes per
frame. This process can take weeks at other
studios, but Blue Cube has a dedicated
RenderFarm, which can reduce the average render
times for an animation to 3 days !!!
